On September 1, 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration of China) officially released the “General Technical Requirements for Midday Rest Desks and Chairs for Primary and Secondary School Students” (GB/T 46016—2025), which will enter into force on February 1, 2026.
