On November 8, the first session of the eighth membership congress of the Fujian Furniture Association was solemnly held in Fuzhou. Representatives from furniture manufacturers, design firms, and industry experts across the province gathered to discuss the sector’s development strategy and chart a course for industrial upgrading. The congress comprehensively reviewed the achievements of the previous board of directors and elected the new leadership team of the association. With its strong overall capabilities, outstanding brand influence, and significant contributions to the educational furniture sector, Jiansheng Group was honored as a “Vice-President Unit” of the eighth council of the Fujian Furniture Association.

The agenda of this grand conference was both comprehensive and pragmatic, achieving efficient outcomes while focusing on the deliberation and election of several key industry matters. The meeting first reviewed and approved the Fujian Provincial Furniture Association’s election procedures and the selection of poll monitors. Subsequently, Shen Jiemei, Chairperson of the Fujian Provincial Furniture Association, presented the “Work Report of the Seventh Council of the Fujian Provincial Furniture Association,” which, together with the financial report and the supervisory board’s work report, underwent thorough review. The reports provided a comprehensive overview of the industry’s achievements over the past period and clearly outlined plans for future development. In addition, the meeting considered and adopted the explanatory notes on the draft amendments to the association’s articles of association, as well as the standards and management measures for membership fees. It also elected the members of the Eighth Council and the Eighth Supervisory Board, and reviewed and confirmed appointments of heads of branch organizations and other related matters. Following a solemn plaque‑presentation ceremony, the newly elected council officially assumed its duties, injecting fresh organizational momentum into the standardized development and innovative upgrading of Fujian’s furniture industry.
